European Starling Rescue
If you have found a baby Starling in Michigan we can help! We are not wildlife rahabilitators but we have experience caring and raising European Starlings. Many wildlife centers in Michigan will not accept European Starlings, Pigeons or House Sparrows because they are not a protected species. In Michigan Starlings are considered "Pests" and many places will euthanize them. We are here to help save the European Starling with a simple raise and releash program, any Starling that cannot be released will be found a experienced and permenent home. We are located in Southeast Michigan and will pick-up any un-injured baby Starlings. If you find an injured Starling we may be able to help as well. Starlings normally build their nests high in building and tree cavities, if you are having a problem with wild Starlings please contact us. We will find a way to help without Pest Control. We have raised Pigeons and Starlings from babies and have released majority of them back into the wild away from residential areas were they can cause damage.
**Please remember if you find a Fledgling (Younger Starling Fully Feathered) Please leave it be, the parents are close by and watching him, do NOT bring it home!! They can fend for themselves.
